Since the WaterGEMS datastore is an open database format, multiple application clients can open, view, and edit a WaterGEMS hydraulic model simultaneously. This means that a single hydraulic model can be open in WaterGEMS Stand-Alone, ArcMap, and ArcCatalog all at the same time. Each client is just another “view” on the same data, contained within the same files.
